Laura Diamond is a brilliant NYPD homicide detective striving to balance her day job with a chaotic home life, and she's the first to admit that she doesn't always pull it off flawlessly. Her rambunctious twin boys and soon-to-be ex-husband, Jake - who can't seem to find the time to sign the divorce papers - make life interesting. Complications arise when Jake becomes Laura's boss at the precinct, but with the help of her understanding - and attractive - partner, Billy, she somehow manages to make it all work.

It was sad when season 2 ended and there was no season 3. Reviews from audience is high although the critics was low. Netflix hop on a season 3 it's a landmine. I started watching as a filler for when other series were on production break and now I am sad that season 2 has come to an end and there will not be a season 3. :-( This show will be missed. I hate the new captain played by Callie Thorne so much I hope she dies in real life just to get her off the show. If she remains on the show I will quit watching it for good.
