Scott Bryan BBC.com It just feels like there is thirty percent too much plot and rabbit holes not connected to other plot lines. ... It is just a bit too weighted down. Jun 14, 2021 Full Review Wenlei Ma News.com.au The Nevers has a lot going for it but it's a distillation of Whedon's best and worst filmmaking impulses. It needs someone with a more disciplined eye to cut half of its many dangling threads and subplots. Jun 5, 2021 Full Review Suzi Feay Financial Times If ladies fighting in their nighties is your thing, then fill your button boots. Rated: 3/5 May 25, 2021 Full Review Bree Fowler CNET I loved the kickass, funny, complicated characters and the fact that I just couldn't figure out who the real villains are. I keep looking for another show like this. So far, nada. Mar 30, 2023 Full Review Therese Lacson The Beat [In] order to hold on to this show past just its one season, and in order for it to survive past the Joss Whedon shadow, it needs to make major changes. Oct 9, 2021 Full Review Audrey Fox We Live Entertainment Truthfully, The Nevers has a lot to recommend it. But as a busy, frequently over-stuffed period sci-fi epic, it has an uphill battle ahead of it. Aug 23, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Joshua M Excellent show, epic fantasy adventure and very original. Please release the other episodes!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/06/24 Full Review Ellie R I could not get past the first 17 minutes. This was the most horrendous, incorrect, offensive depiction of autism, and Asperger‘s that I have ever seen on film. We are not naturally violent. We are not crazy. We do not require care in an asylum. There is no cure because there is nothing wrong with us. Our brains simply work in a different way. Did the production not speak to anyone with knowledge of autism? I realize the show is several years old and it is based in France, but this is not the 1700s. Absolutely offensive and disgusting and I refuse to watch another second Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/11/24 Full Review Audience Member People who developed abilities began to be called gifted. Although they are different from others, they still want to live an ordinary happy life. That the authorities and ordinary citizens do not like changes in life. Many consider the gifted to be a threat. What will non-fans of the gifted do? What will the gifted do to save a quiet life? The series is slightly above average and that's thanks to the exciting ending. For the most part, the series is boring. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/16/24 Full Review Dawn J I love the nevers and don't understand why the entire (part 1 and 2 are not on any kind of real release. It's creative and stong and compelling Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/25/23 Full Review Eric U The old too quality HBO is gone. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/29/23 Full Review Maxima I It has potential but I feel like the writer is afraid of walking through the less beaten path... Decent plot, good production, fresh genre, theme structure is old tho. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/28/23 Full Review Read all reviews
