      Season 2 – The Office

      2005 Comedy List
100% 14 Reviews Tomatometer 97% 500+ Ratings Audience Score This U.S. adaptation -- set at a paper company based in Scranton, Pa. -- has a similar documentary style to that of the Ricky Gervais-led British original. It features the Dunder-Mifflin staff, which includes characters based on roles in the British show -- and, quite possibly, people with whom you work in your office. There's Jim, the likable employee who's a bit of an every man. Jim has a thing for receptionist-turned-sales-rep Pam -- because office romances are always a good idea! There's also Dwight, the co-worker who is successful but devoid of social skills and common sense. Read More Read Less Watch on Peacock Stream Now

Crystal S Continuing the saga that is the life of Michael Scott and the employees of Dunder Mifflin, this season makes you laugh until you cry. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/21/24 Full Review Max W Season 2 of 'The Office' significantly expands the interactions between characters and delves deeper into their individual stories. Through subtle moments and concise dialogues, it subtly incorporates nuanced details that add depth to these characters, warming up the atmosphere in this small office. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 11/25/23 Full Review Rafael B maybe the best season Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/11/23 Full Review Randall D This is how you make a perfect show. No matter how many times I watch this, I am entertained. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/23/23 Full Review Joshua K So friggin good. Even though I loved the first season, this season was incredibly better. This season felt like it had more of a vision of where it was going and the interconnecting story throughout each episode helped a lot. This is another season of television that I personally think is worthy of the 5/5 star rating making it one of my "Best of All Time" seasons of TV. It all just came to an incredible close with Casino Night which is by far my favorite episode so far. It's sort of ironic that the first and last episode of this season were the two best in my opinion, but just overall a perfect season of television. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/20/23 Full Review Wyatt G Continuing on the heels of the first season, season 2 keeps everything feeling fresh, and we start to realize it is not your typical sitcom comedy, but actually could be seen as a drama with the episodes correlating with a bigger plot at hand. Christine Fenno Entertainment Weekly Gotta hand it to Steve Carell for bringing the physical comedy. I missed his mixture of wannabe mensch and total menace all summer. Feb 24, 2020 Full Review Kera Bolonik Slate The Office has artfully looted Gervais and Merchant's show for jokes and characters while at the same reinventing itself into something truly, well, American. Feb 20, 2020 Full Review Tim Goodman San Francisco Chronicle What's truly brave is the comedy itself, which borrows a little bit of Dilbert and a whole lot of Curb Your Enthusiasm as it celebrates awkward interpersonal relationships with no hint of escape. Rated: 3/4 Nov 15, 2018 Full Review Betsy Bozdech DVDJournal.com It's not just the stars who shine in this series; the supporting players (many of whom are also writers and producers for the show) are just as impressive. Rated: 4/5 Jan 7, 2022 Full Review Eric Goldman IGN Movies With Arrested Development sadly over, The Office is easily the best comedy on television these days.
