      Season 6 – The Office

      2009 Comedy List
73% 15 Reviews Tomatometer 94% 500+ Ratings Audience Score This U.S. adaptation -- set at a paper company based in Scranton, Pa. -- has a similar documentary style to that of the Ricky Gervais-led British original. It features the Dunder-Mifflin staff, which includes characters based on roles in the British show -- and, quite possibly, people with whom you work in your office. There's Jim, the likable employee who's a bit of an every man. Jim has a thing for receptionist-turned-sales-rep Pam -- because office romances are always a good idea! There's also Dwight, the co-worker who is successful but devoid of social skills and common sense. Read More Read Less Watch on Peacock Stream Now

Test T I've been watching this series on DVD. Oddly, I started when I found season 6 in a charity shop. I was a fan of the original UK "The Office" series, so I was expecting something similar. At first, I found the transition from the UK series difficult, but once I'd watched a few episodes and got to know the characters I started to enjoy it. I think Steve Carell is brilliant playing Michael Scott, and I think it's the best I have seen him perform in anything. I really like the satirical take on office life, and the rediculous situations which develop. The rest of the cast are excellent, each bringing an eccentric character to life in their own unique way to complement Michael. I find most of it extremely amusing, and often find myself laughing out loud. It's a great formula which always left me keen to watch the next episode. After watching season 6, I went on to purchase seasons 1-5 and have now watched these as well. I'm hoping to watch seasons 7-9 soon. I've thoroughly enjoyed watching this series so far, and can recommend it without hesitation. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/18/24 Full Review Max W Season 6 of The Office unfolds numerous major events, capturing the tumultuous and serene aspects of office life with an unparalleled sense of reality. The season maintains its high production standards and continues to showcase outstanding performances as expected. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/24 Full Review Randall D This is one of the best shows ever made in my opinion. I do have issues with this season though. This is where it starts to get ridiculous in terms of believability. I hated the Niagara episodes and the ending where they dance down the isle in their wedding is so stupid. So very stupid. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/23/23 Full Review Wyatt G The show's climax. it crescendos until here. Not that after this season the show becomes bad, just not as amazing as it had been until here. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/10/23 Full Review Spencer P This season is home to one of the most beloved TV weddings and childbirths of all time, and a major shakeup for the central company, but also some of the most cringy Michael-mishaps in the series yet. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/10/23 Full Review Claudiu I I never tired to watch this series and laugh about a lot of things. Good variety of humor and absurd situations.
