Jim Rockford is an ex-con and private detective. He was falsely convicted of a crime he didn't commit, but that doesn't stop him from using his ex-con buddies to help him solve crimes. Nothing comes easy for Rockford, but he works hard and usually gets shot at or beat up at least once per episode.

Karen D'Souza San Jose Mercury News The only bad thing about settling in for a gleefully retro couch potato weekend with "The Rockford Files: Season Six," the final season of the iconic TV detective show "The Rockford Files" is that is has to end. Apr 15, 2020 Full Review Will Harris Bullz-Eye.com You know how the cliché goes: even the worst episode of "The Rockford Files" is still better than a lot of the crap on TV, and even the weakest season of the series is still something that fans of the show are going to want to own. Rated: 3.5/5 Apr 16, 2020 Full Review Stuart Galbraith DVDTalk.com The Rockford Files remains the best show of its kind, and the last batch of episodes maintain the same high batting average as the rest of the series.
