      Season 4 – The Simpsons

      1992 Comedy Animation List
100% 11 Reviews Tomatometer 94% 250+ Ratings Audience Score This long-running animated comedy focuses on the eponymous family in the town of Springfield in an unnamed U.S. state. The head of the Simpson family, Homer, is not a typical family man. A nuclear-plant employee, he does his best to lead his family but often finds that they are leading him. The family includes loving, blue-haired matriarch Marge, troublemaking son Bart, overachieving daughter Lisa and baby Maggie. Other Springfield residents include the family's religious neighbor, Ned Flanders, family physician Dr. Hibbert, Moe the bartender and police chief Clancy Wiggum. Jones C This season of The Simpsons demonstrated how a hand-drawn TV show can be so beautiful and heartwarming at some points, and so funny and humourous at other times. Gag after gag, never losing its humour, after each and every episode we want to watch every last second of it. And yet, every episode keeps on getting better in the season, which seems impossible. The 1st episode of the season, "Kamp Krusty" was the first ever Simpsons episode I watched. When I saw the animation for the first time, I thought the episode would be awful. But after about two seconds, I was rolling around on the floor laughing. The brilliance of timing in the humour was astounding, which was followed by another funny thing that came out of Bart's mouth. Talking about Bart, this season was his Prime for laughter. After I watched the whole season a gazillion times, I started to get disappointed with the other seasons as my expectations were so high. But to be fair, the other seasons were good, just not as good as season 4.
