      1994 Comedy Animation List
100% 7 Reviews Tomatometer 97% 100+ Ratings Audience Score This long-running animated comedy focuses on the eponymous family in the town of Springfield in an unnamed U.S. state. The head of the Simpson family, Homer, is not a typical family man. A nuclear-plant employee, he does his best to lead his family but often finds that they are leading him. The family includes loving, blue-haired matriarch Marge, troublemaking son Bart, overachieving daughter Lisa and baby Maggie. Other Springfield residents include the family's religious neighbor, Ned Flanders, family physician Dr. Hibbert, Moe the bartender and police chief Clancy Wiggum. Jeffrey M The Simpsons Season 6 was an amazing Simpsons Season. I watched it about 2 months ago, and I remember I loved it. The Simpsons Season 6 was a interesting season of the Simpsons. I feel like when the golden age was happening in the Simpsons every season got better. The Simpsons Season 6 was a really funny season, and guess what? I LOVE comedy!!! This is my favorite Simpsons season after Season 7 and Season 8. What a great season. I give it a 94%. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/28/23 Full Review Jesse C this like all the others was pretty good and funny but the episode plots are getting worse. I did love the finale though Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/08/23 Full Review Jackson S This is like season 5 with a lot of good episodes. Okay but really when Bart says "I am being charged of fraud in Australia" it is such an oddly funny moment! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review andrea m Another top season! Although the first episodes are are "just" great, soon the excellence is reached. This season boasts arguably the best Halloween special, and the most emotional moment (four simple words: do it for her). The laughs are also guaranteed as the producers reached full maturity with consistent and brilliant jokes. Other praises go to the musical acts, among the best of the entire series ("We Do" but also "See my vest"). This is the Golden Age in full swing! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review j m As good as Season 5. 'Treehouse Of Horror V' is essential viewing. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review johnathon w Another classic season with numerous standout episodes, from "Homer the Great" to "Bart vs. Australia". Best of all, it featured the first season cliffhanger with the classic "Who Shot Mr. Burns?" The show continues to sail through its peak. Erik Adams AV Club By the time of its sixth season, The Simpsons had been around long enough to institute its own tropes, traits, and conventions, but the première episode of that sixth-season still displays a rebel streak. Nov 15, 2017 Full Review Fernando F. Croce Slant Magazine ... a mix of caustic satire and embracing humanity scarcely found outside of Renoir, Sturges, and Altman, least of all on primetime TV. Rated: 4/5 Nov 15, 2017 Full Review Todd Everett Variety Rolling into its sixth season in high gear, "The Simpsons" continues as the best justification of Fox's relative permissiveness. It's also arguably the funniest series on the air. Nov 13, 2017 Full Review Joe Reid Decider While airing such a summer-y episode at the beginning of fall must have felt like quite a tease... the episode is one of the show's best at depicting classic kids' behavior. Jun 13, 2018 Full Review Rafe Telsch CinemaBlend No matter how many times I watch it, classics like "Two Dozen and One Greyhounds" and "Itchy and Scratchy Land" will never lose their humor, and of course, there's always that good old "Treehouse of Horror". Rated: 5/5 Nov 15, 2017 Full Review Kevin Wong PopMatters Watching Season Six inspires hope, rather than despair, for the upcoming season. Nov 9, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews
