David Sims AV Club The publicity, hype and fan attention from the genius cliffhanger of "Who Shot Mr. Burns?" was at fever pitch, but the show's status as a self-aware comedy meant that pretty much any answer would be a good one. Nov 15, 2017 Full Review William Thomas Empire Magazine Arguably the finest episode, and season, released so far. Rated: 5/5 Oct 18, 2017 Full Review Robert Canning IGN Movies Say what you will about the result of who actually shot Mr. Burns, the investigation running throughout "Part 2" was loaded with laughs. Jun 14, 2018 Full Review Bill Gibron PopMatters ... consistently, the funniest show on television. Nov 13, 2017 Full Review Todd Gilchrist IGN Movies Such classic shows as "Radioactive Man," "Bart Sells His Soul," "Lisa the Vegetarian," "The Simpsons 138th Episode Spectacular,"... and further expanded the series' impeccable grasp of both hair-trigger humor and genuinely evocative storytelling... Rated: 10/10 Oct 31, 2017 Full Review Josh Kurp Uproxx ... this is the season where Bill Oakley and Josh Weinstein took over as showrunners, and they wanted The Simpsons to go back to feeling more realistic, with an occasional outlier. Jeffrey M The Simpsons Season 7 was a great Simpsons season. It was a interesting season. The Simpsons Season 7 had some Simpson classics ( the Simpsons episodes are too young to be a classic) like Who Shot Mr. Burns Part 2 and King Sized Homer. Even though 22 Short Films About Springfield is a Simpsons classic too I thought it was pretty good and not spectacular. Two episodes I personally liked are King Sized Homer and The Day the Violence Died. What a good season. I give this a 96%. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/28/23 Full Review Jackson S Its good but not as good as 5 and 6. It seems like some episodes are not to interesting. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review greg d This has steamed hams. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/02/23 Full Review johnathon w Another classic season featuring numerous great episodes such as the conclusion to "Who Shot Mr. Burns?", "King Size Homer" and "22 Short Films About Springfield". Still peak Simpsons. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review j m This season has some quite funny episodes, but it might not have been the best one in ages. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member All good except episode 10. The first episode in the iteration you can confidently skip!
