This long-running animated comedy focuses on the eponymous family in the town of Springfield in an unnamed U.S. state. The head of the Simpson family, Homer, is not a typical family man. A nuclear-plant employee, he does his best to lead his family but often finds that they are leading him. The family includes loving, blue-haired matriarch Marge, troublemaking son Bart, overachieving daughter Lisa and baby Maggie. Other Springfield residents include the family's religious neighbor, Ned Flanders, family physician Dr. Hibbert, Moe the bartender and police chief Clancy Wiggum.

Noel Holston Newsday Like most of the recent editions, this year's is about two-thirds brilliant. May 10, 2018 Full Review Ben Walsh Independent (UK) It's all about Homer, of course, but it's the more peripheral characters that bag the best lines... Nov 11, 2017 Full Review Kevin Carr 7M Pictures In short, it's what you'd expect form a season of "The Simpsons." It's edgy enough to not be boring, but it's not so in-your-face obnoxious that you can still enjoy in on early prime-time television. Rated: 4/5 Aug 10, 2018 Full Review People Staff People Magazine Now nearing the 14-year mark, this series still revels in its irreverence. Jan 31, 2018 Full Review Josh Kurp Uproxx Most Emblematic Episode of the Season As a Whole: "I, (Annoyed Grunt)-Bot," because BattleBots was popular in 2001. This episode aired in 2004. Songer K It’s not good. Okay? Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 05/21/24 Full Review Jeffrey M The Simpsons Season 15 was an amazing season. The Simpsons Season 15 was a comeback from Season 14 and I was surprised that the episodes weren't like Season 16. The Simpsons Season 15 has a lot of good episodes comparing it to the circumstances that it is facing right now, but let me name a few exceptional episodes ( for this season ). I will name them in which I like least to best. The President Wore Pearls, The Regina Monologues, My Mother the Carjacker, and, my favorite, Treehouse of Horror XV. Some episodes I didn't like are Today I am a Clown and Bart Mangled Banner. Today I am a Clown wasn't really very centered around Krusty's bar mitzvah which should have been the main focus. It only really centered around Homer getting famous, which wasn't that funny. Bart Mangled Banner had a weird plot and it gave me Kill the Alligator and Run vibes. I give this season a 70%. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/24 Full Review johnathon w Another solid season that while delivering no particular classic makes a fun viewing throughout. Classic Simpsons for the most part. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Only a couple good ones, mixed in with a couple bad ones an a bunch of mediocre ones. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Oh man so tublyer dude Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member It's hard to think nowadays but in 2003 and 2004, The Simpsons almost returned to its former glory. Due to its spot as a mid-era season, season 15's upswing will sadly not go down in many history books, but season 15 succeeds in nearly every regard with impressive gags and original, and often sweet stories. I-D'oh Bot, Simple Simpson, and Milhouse Doesn't Live Here Anymore are great examples of season 15's strengths, and there are a lot of other underrated gems here too.
