      Season 17 – The Simpsons

      2005 Comedy Animation List
Reviews 70% 100+ Ratings Audience Score This long-running animated comedy focuses on the eponymous family in the town of Springfield in an unnamed U.S. state. The head of the Simpson family, Homer, is not a typical family man. A nuclear-plant employee, he does his best to lead his family but often finds that they are leading him. The family includes loving, blue-haired matriarch Marge, troublemaking son Bart, overachieving daughter Lisa and baby Maggie. Other Springfield residents include the family's religious neighbor, Ned Flanders, family physician Dr. Hibbert, Moe the bartender and police chief Clancy Wiggum. Jeffrey M The Simpsons Season 17 is an okay season of the Simpsons. A few good episode in this season is The Seemingly Never-ending Story and Kiss Kiss Bang Bangalore. A few bad episodes of this season were The Wettest Story Ever Told and Marge's Sons Poisoning. The Simpsons Season 17 is an average season at this point. Not super good not super bad. Season 17 is an improvement from season 16 ( my least favorite Simpsons season so far ). The Simpsons is still okay but far from the Golden Age. I give this Season a 63%. An okay season. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/17/24 Full Review Jackson S A pretty good season with some good episodes Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review johnathon w Another fun but flawed season, though lacking any standout episodes outside "The Italian Bob", which is a welcome return of the classic villain, Sideshow Bob. At the very least, it passed the time. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Not that was a big drop 6 episodes to hate, great. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member By season 17, you could make a fair point that Al Jean was playing it too safe, while season 17 is generally entertaining, it lacks the hearty laughter and memorability to make a must-watch season of The Simpsons. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Funny at times but sometimes it isn't funny at all, show has been going on too long now i think, overall it is isn't too bad Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Seth Freilich Pajiba Over the last year or so, it's actually gotten pretty good again. Not necessarily the pinnacle of perfection it once was, but it tends to provide at least a few laughs an episode, which is good enough for me. May 29, 2018 Full Review Josh Kurp Uproxx Not bad, not good, just...there. Oct 26, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews
