      2018 Comedy Animation List
Reviews 54% 50+ Ratings Audience Score This long-running animated comedy focuses on the eponymous family in the town of Springfield in an unnamed U.S. state. The head of the Simpson family, Homer, is not a typical family man. A nuclear-plant employee, he does his best to lead his family but often finds that they are leading him. The family includes loving, blue-haired matriarch Marge, troublemaking son Bart, overachieving daughter Lisa and baby Maggie. Other Springfield residents include the family's religious neighbor, Ned Flanders, family physician Dr. Hibbert, Moe the bartender and police chief Clancy Wiggum. Johnathon W Another solid but unremarkable season. Worth checking out for fans. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Every single episode is forgettable. Just useless background noise. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review iker s Yet again, another wonderful Simpsons season. I really still appreciate the voices, the creativity and the references and parodies about Stranger Things, Breaking Bad, Tesla, The Shining, Andre the Giant, Cthulhu, The Thing, and a lot more. I really like the guest voices that they bring to record in every show! The episodes I enjoyed the most this season where: E2, E4, E5, E8, E14, E17, E20. In general, every episode was great and fun. Dennis Perkins AV Club [The premiere] at least indicates an interest in character-focused stories going forward that's a lot more intriguing than any splashy stunt casting or reality-busting fantasy would be. Rated: B- Oct 3, 2018 Full Review Kevin Yeoman Screen Rant The end result is the thirtieth time The Simpsons has begun a new season, and though it's not perfect, it does feel refreshingly reminiscent of the series' better days. Oct 3, 2018 Full Review Tony Sokol Den of Geek After thirty years, the series has become the authority. Newer shows are taking on new ground, but The Simpsons are still shooting for something less than redemption. Rated: 3/5 Oct 3, 2018 Full Review Jesse Schedeen IGN Movies It settles for telling a clever, amusing story rather than relying on gimmicks. Rated: 7.2/10 Oct 3, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews
