Dan R 'The Sister' is a 2020 mini series which originally aired on ITV and is now on Netflix. The series comes from Neil Cross, the creator of 'Luther'. SYNOPSIS: 'Almost a decade into his new devoted married life Nathan is rocked to the core when Bob, an unwelcome face from the past, turns up on his doorstep with shocking news, triggering a series of catastrophic decisions.' There's something quite nostalgic about 'The Sister' with it feeling like an old British TV series from the 70s and 80s. There's something quite Hitchcockian about it. This 4 episode series starts as a slow burn, but its many twists, turns and outright carpet pulls mean this series ends as an all out blaze. Implausible at times but really effective. The first rate cast drives this story down many misty country lanes (literally and figuratively), to somewhere between ghost story and psychological drama, right up until the conclusions shocking reveals.
