"The Unit" follows a covert team of Special Forces operatives as they risk their lives on undercover missions around the globe, while their families maintain the home front. Part of the show's focus is the effect that the group's missions have on the guys' wives and girlfriends.

Kevin Carr 7M Pictures I know that the show's producers tell both sides of the story to maximize the audience, but in my humble opinion, it's these at-home dilemmas that keep The Unit from being a spectacular show. Rated: 2.5/5 Oct 11, 2018 Full Review Cynthia Fuchs PopMatters The series underscores how the military works, ideologically, morally, and emotionally, how forces can remain dedicated even when they question commanders or commands. Rated: 9/10 Oct 11, 2018 Full Review Seth Freilich Pajiba I'm still enjoying "The Unit" immensely. May 31, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Season 2 takes a downturn, IMO. It's definitely still watchable, but it gets into generic action territory and strains credibility. Season 1 was pretty realistic. This one is like a "Hurt Locker" version of the military. I hope season 3 picks up. I was *really* impressed with the 1st season. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
