"The Unit" follows a covert team of Special Forces operatives as they risk their lives on undercover missions around the globe, while their families maintain the home front. Part of the show's focus is the effect that the group's missions have on the guys' wives and girlfriends.

Maxton Walker Guardian OK, so The Unit is rightwing, jingoistic, militaristic and even rather xenophobic. But it's certainly not a crock... Despite its arguable flaws, it's gripping drama. Oct 11, 2018 Full Review Josh Modell AV Club All four seasons of The Unit are compulsively watchable, and often crackin' good fun. Rated: B Oct 11, 2018 Full Review Alan Sepinwall Newark Star-Ledger So long as Haysbert and Foley are around as men of action who are most dangerous when they're thinking (Foley does more with silence than almost any actor on television), The Unit is still an entertaining diversion. Oct 11, 2018 Full Review Brian Zoromski IGN Movies If this ends up being the series finale, fans' only consolation will be that the show went out on such a high note. Rated: 9/10 Oct 11, 2018 Full Review David Wharton CinemaBlend It's almost hard to describe the presence all of the actors convey, except to say that it just feels right, even to someone who hasn't served in the military, and that it's about as far from the usual Hollywood portrayals of military men as you can get. Rated: 4.5/5 Oct 11, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews

Sophea P The show itself is thrilling and action packed. The Unit members are very good at what they do and are amazing to watch! The downside is Molly. This is the worst character that has ever been written. She is the most narcissistic and selfish wife in the series. She was told to stay away from the Gillums and she still decided to be nosy and follow them around, putting herself in danger and then puts it on Jonas to leave his career because she’s an idiot. Molly is the only character that never apologized for anything throughout the entire series after making crucial mistakes and putting not only her life, but the lives of the other wives and the husbands, in danger. She was also the only wife that didn’t ever have a job so she becomes this typical stay-at-home wife who is bored and thinks she can do what their husbands do. They should have killed her off earlier in the show so it would’ve been more enjoyable. The show is worth the watch for the missions, but I highly recommend fast-forwarding straight through the bored housewives. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/09/25 Full Review john h I find the program generally entertaining and occasionally very dramatic, However Season 4 ep 13 Spear of Destiny ... is the "jumped the shark" ep for me Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
