Volume 1 starts and ends very strong, with a bit of meandering in between. While the season as a whole is easy to appreciate, some of the individual episodes tend to repeat themselves.

The only saving grace is Henry Cavill, as well as supporting cast. I simply don’t understand why writers don’t just stick to the OG story…oh I get it! They want to feel like actual writers and come up with something themselves, instead of copy and pasting from the source material. The problem with that is they simply suck at creating anything new. Don’t get me wrong here, the show is visually stunning and the acting is top notch and all, but the actual story being told is just mediocre. Cinematography, editing, costume design, all phenomenal and does deserve praise but what matters the most they simply just dropped the ball. How is it continuing with such horrible feedback?! Usually Netflix cancels after two bad reviews despite high viewership and praise for a series. It’s like they do things backwards there. Netflix=Ultimate Trolls

Worth a watch, even if unfamiliar with the game. It's nice to see a world where a young girl has so much power and it was good this season to get more background and understanding of Geralt.

I thought season 1 was amazing, I'd give that a 9/10. season 2 was ok (6/10)...and I finally finished season 3 tonight and was very disappointed in the whole season (1/10). Boring, dull, too many pointless repetitive conversations that end up going nowhere. I had such high hopes after season 1 and it's a shame they screwed it up this badly. The 17% audience score highlights how all the "top critics" of this show who scored it a 79% are completely detached from reality and should never critically review any shows ever again
