"Unsolved" is a new limited series that draws from the experiences of Greg Kading and Russell Poole, two former LAPD detectives who led separate investigations into the murders of iconic rappers Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. Based on Kading's book "Murder Rap: The Untold Story of the Biggie Smalls & Tupac Shakur Murder Investigations," the series juxtaposes the two investigations alongside flashbacks into the relationship between Tupac and Biggie.

Audience Member Absolute must watch, especially if you are interested in old school hip hop, and how things were really going on down on the streets Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/31/24 Full Review Ryan B A fantastic retelling of the story of Pac and Big and their demise and all the shady business that was going on around them. Marcc Rose and Wavyy Jones play their parts incredibly well, so much so it’s easy to forget that it’s not really Pac and Big on screen. Jimmi Simpson also portrays detective Russell Poole superbly who gives his life to try and solve the case. This is one not to miss. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/07/24 Full Review Lukas-Jeremie K I can't say too much about the series because I saw it a long time ago, but I remember really enjoying it at the time. The Series tells the story of a team that looks into the cases of Tupacs and Biggies Death, decades after the two rapper died. They come to a lot of conclusions and even have some suspects in mind, but on the way of solving the cases, they meet many ups and downs on their way. In particular I liked, that the decision to cast 2Pac fell on Marcc Rose like in "Straight Outta Compton" and not on Demetrius Shipp Jr. Like in "All Eyez On Me", who in my opinion has no similarities to 2Pac at all.
