Maureen Ryan Chicago Tribune Not only is Veronica Mars not silly, it's one of the best new shows of the fall season. But despite more-than-competent writing and a fine supporting cast, it's possible that "Mars" might be mediocre without Kristin Bell. Jun 29, 2023 Full Review Ken Parish Perkins Fort Worth Star-Telegram/DFW.com The series manages to shed skins naturally, going from light comedy to edgy drama to dark drama. Rated: B+ Jun 29, 2023 Full Review Jonathan Storm Philadelphia Inquirer Don't miss Veronica Mars, the most surprisingly entertaining new series on TV this season. Jun 29, 2023 Full Review Sean Axmaker Stream on Demand In this world, high school life is cutthroat, the social world is shallow, and sometimes the only thing that separates these characters from the villains of 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' and 'Smallville' are their lack of super powers Sep 9, 2023 Full Review Glenn Garvin Miami Herald Imagine that Nancy Drew visits "The O.C." in a script by Raymond Chandler and you're getting close to this strange but compelling show, which mixes class warfare, teen angst and noirish cynicism in equal doses. Jun 29, 2023 Full Review Ellen Gray Philadelphia Daily News As cool as Buffy the Vampire Slayer but with less other-worldly problems, "Veronica's" navigating the tricky waters of a town full of secrets, on a network that until this season wasn't known for creating shows this good. angela g a really good tv show the first season is really good Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/26/24 Full Review jesse d Loved this show. I was truly disappointed when it was a victim on the writers strike. It was absolutely brilliant. I appreciated how original the plots and carry overs were. It was a great show, great, well cast actors. Exciting plots and storylines. I can't believe that this show was cancelled and 1 Tree Hill was renewed. It's just mind boggling. Kristin Bell is an amazing actress, one of the best. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member It was an amazing show!
