A series of personal and family traumas have made her an outcast - albeit one with a sarcastic side and a snarky sense of humor. What to Know

Critics Consensus

She may have solved the murder of her best friend, but everyone's favorite teen sleuth still has plenty of high school drama and danger to go around in Veronica Mars' successful second season.

Liz Shannon Miller IndieWire Season 2 of "Veronica Mars" doesn't hold together quite as well as Season 1, but this finale still has its brutality, which remains resonate years later. Poor Beaver. Poor everyone else. May 29, 2018 Full Review Stephanie Zacharek Salon.com like any great TV show, Veronica Mars is so much more than just the sum of its elaborate (sometimes perhaps too elaborate) plot machinations. The really interesting things on Veronica Mars all happen in the margins. Jan 23, 2014 Full Review Gillian Flynn Entertainment Weekly Veronica can be enjoyed even if you've given up solving its clever puzzles. Rated: A- Jan 23, 2014 Full Review Scott Beggs Nerdist A total whirlwind. Jan 11, 2019 Full Review Caroline Preece Den of Geek The second outing just couldn't measure up in quality. It was about the whole town and the social injustice inherent to places like Neptune in real-world America, but it just couldn't generate enough adrenaline to last 22-hours. Jan 11, 2019 Full Review Seth Freilich Pajiba Mixed in with the same witty and cheeky dialogue and characterizations that made the first season so enjoyable, this show continues to be one of the most entertaining things out there. angela g a other good season of a really great tv show Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/26/24 Full Review jesse d Loved this show. I was truly disappointed when it was a victim on the writers strike. It was absolutely brilliant. I appreciated how original the plots and carry overs were. It was a great show, great, well cast actors. Exciting plots and storylines. I can't believe that this show was cancelled and 1 Tree Hill was renewed. It's just mind boggling. Kristin Bell is an amazing actress, one of the best. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review steve d It was a great season ruined by season 4 Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member It was one of the most well written shows i have ever watched. You could say i'm a marshmallow. I love the LoVe moments but the best are the friendship moments between Veronica and Wallace. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Despite the multitude of arcs both new and old, Season 2 pulled through surprisingly well.
