What to Know

Critics Consensus

Part loving homage to TV history, part off-kilter mystery, WandaVision is a wonderfully weird and strikingly bold step into the small screen for the MCU - and a perfect showcase for Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany.

Zaki Hasan San Francisco Chronicle Marrying spectacle and emotion for a show that does credit to both its format and its franchise. Mar 18, 2021 Full Review Alison Herman The Ringer Disney's first MCU series avoids an on-the-nose approach to depicting a woman with superpowers-something other franchises in the genre have long struggled to do... Mar 9, 2021 Full Review Chris Stuckmann ChrisStuckmann.com A very compelling mystery. Rated: B Mar 6, 2021 Full Review Ryan Oquiza Sinegang Marvel is very limiting as a studio, but in the moments that they allow creators to do something even remotely creative, refreshing, and out of the box, it can make those properties really stand out—WandaVision is a prime example of that. Rated: 4/5 Aug 18, 2023 Full Review Jennifer Bisset CNET Weird, funny and laden with Easter eggs, WandaVision is an experimental win for Marvel TV. Mar 30, 2023 Full Review Joseph Garcia Dynamic Duel Podcast The show does not succeed or fail based on the internet's conjecture of what fan service moments could have happened. It succeeds or fails on its own merits – of which it does have a lot. Rated: 4/5 Jan 8, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Obi-wan K Allat js to get killed by big chunks of stone (Multiverse of madness) Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 05/10/25 Full Review Carla P I love my witches. Wanda's grief and sadness and its effects are perfectly depicted. I like to come back to this series. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/02/25 Full Review Lola k Its literally wanda vision, be soo fr, i love it soo much how the story is set and how it flow, Elizabeth Olsen is legendary, I love her so much and i love the scarlet wicth soo much. There is so much emotion and ahhh. i love with all my heart bruh, like this might be my favrouit mini show from ❤️ Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/28/25 Full Review Wyatt J When i first saw this while it was airing on D+ i thought it was good and of course this was during covid time and people at this time were putting amounts of theories of Mephisto and it was crazy. But after i finished it, i thought it was good, not what i thought because i didnt like Wanda as a character to be honest or i would say didnt care in the beginning, but after a 2nd time of watching this all the way through, i actually really enjoyed it more and my rating for this tv show went up, but i love how they kinda did a plot twist close to the end which i thought was amazing. I love the emotional connections that Wanda and Vision have, and how this show is the start of Phase 4 and showing us that this phase will be about emotional trama which it kinda was. Overall solid show. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/25/25 Full Review M B Best Marvel TV Show. The whole idea is excellent, the cast and acting amazing, better than many marvel movies. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/22/25 Full Review Audience Member This is by far the worst show marvel has made to date, only 30 minutes are actually related to marvel at all. The rest are really shitty, poor written attempts to make an old timey show. You can't even get into it because it cuts everything off anytime something picks up, and you'll have to skip 20 minutes or an entire episode to get back to the plot instead of watching live audience tv show sketch. The writers tried so hard to be funny and smug by doing an artsy take on a show, and they did a terrible job. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/10/25 Full Review Read all reviews
