A look at the lives of four vampires who've lived together for hundreds of years on Staten Island. The self-appointed leader of the group is Nandor the Relentless, a warrior and conqueror from the Ottoman Empire. Then there's the British vampire Laszlo -- a bit of a rogue and a dandy and a fop, he might say. He's a lover of mischief and a soirée, but not as much as he loves seeing Nandor fail in every attempt. And then there's Nadja: the seductress, the temptress, the vampiric Bonnie to Laszlo's Clyde. Also cohabiting in the vampire household is Guillermo, Nandor's familiar; Colin Robinson, an energy vampire and day-walker of sorts -- he feasts on humans, but not on their blood.

Even better than the first season! *What We Do in the Shadows* is delightful, silly, sassy, and really detail-oriented. The writing and the cast's delivery are so flawless that the show might seem oblivious to itself, but it is actually absolutely aware of its mastery.

Absolutely fantastic tv show. It took the intriguing premise from the inferior movie and really developed the brilliant characters (of course, you can do this with 6 series more so than just the one movie). The whole cast are wonderful, with each character getting their time to shine in the spotlight. Witty and memorable stories with well thought out (and at times absolutely bonkers!) set pieces and character interactions. If you didn't go much on the original movie, it's worth giving this a go... you may be pleasantly surprised.

This has to be one of the funniest seasons of any show I have watched in the past 20 years. It expands it's world and the jokes always seem to land. I have no critique of it other than you should really watch this season! Easily my favorite of the entire series. If you are binge watching it now just lower your expectations for the later seasons.
