Kylie Northover The Age (Australia) It’s an almost cartoonish dark farce led by a sensational cast. Tolman, whose entire demeanour changes incrementally throughout the series, is totally compelling. Rated: 4/5 Jan 20, 2022 Full Review Gwen Ihnat AV Club A frump becoming a society diva just seems like a thin storyline... Fortunately, Cherry once again knows how to cast his female leads. If there's anyone we'd want to watch blossom over the course of a season, it's the effervescent Tolman. Rated: B- Jun 4, 2021 Full Review Kristen Lopez IndieWire There's so much beauty in every frame, from the costumes to the production design - and actors able to rise to the occasion - that it's easy to ignore that the series isn't necessarily stretching itself. Rated: B- Jun 4, 2021 Full Review Sarah McMullan The Post NZ Tolman and Frost are delightful together, and Parilla is suitably evil in a drop-dead glamorous way. Jun 11, 2021 Full Review Matt Roush TV Insider The ensuing lurid shenanigans are cartoonish to a campy extreme, and it's hard to care who'll end up killing whom in their venal, petty squabbles. Jun 4, 2021 Full Review Carissa Pavlica TV Fanatic [Tolman is] perfectly cast as Alma, who will experience an awakening that will set her on a course, as the voiceover says at the beginning of the hour, from inconsequential to infamous. Risa M This show is incredibly disappointing. The lead character's fake accent is poorly done and somehow becomes even more exaggerated as the season progresses. While the first season was well-crafted and engaging, this season is a complete letdown. I strongly discourage anyone from wasting their time watching this it’s poorly executed and utterly frustrating. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/03/24 Full Review Andrei D Predictable and filled with unlikable people Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 09/30/24 Full Review Ruby M I didn’t think the second season would steal my heart as much as the 1st one but boy was I wrong. This is tv and omg this season exceed my expectations. Like wow. All the awards for the cast. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/27/24 Full Review Shanda M This was wonderful, I loved every minute of it. Very talented cast. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/04/24 Full Review Leta S I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked season one, but not so much season two. The storyline is no where as interesting as the intertwined stories in season one. Here we go again with the ridiculous romance between a great looking guy and a rotund girl. What is the deal! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 11/02/23 Full Review MariaF I have enjoyed season 2 as much as season 1 of Why Women Kill netflix. The writing is done so well, the acting is perfection. Never a dull moment. All the actors and actresses top notch. I have to say I enjoyed actress Veronica Falcon season 2. Her voice perfect for the role. She does funny/serious quiet well.
