"Yellowjackets" tells the narrative of a team of wildly talented high-school girls soccer players who survive a plane crash deep in the Ontario wilderness. The series chronicles their descent from a complicated but thriving team to warring, cannibalistic clans, while also tracking the lives they have attempted to piece back together. Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher and Sammi Hanratty star as the teenagers, while Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, Christina Ricci and Juliette Lewis portray their adult counterparts as they reveal the truth about their survival 25 years later.

Uma ótima temporada, ótimas atuações do elenco principal das 2 épocas. Montagem e efeitos muito bons. Roteiro tem seus altos e baixos com alguns clichês mas nada que destrua ou torne a história monótona. Amei o personagem Adam, além de gato, um fofo. O episódio final foi bem intenso, com um drama previsto, mas que foi bem didático para a platéia.

Loved the first season of this show. Christina Ricci/Sammi Hanratty's character Misty is the highlight of the show for me. The 90s vibe is great. Great music selection from the era. Well acted and directed for the most part. Good mystery that keeps you wanting to find out what happened, who dies next and how. My only reason for giving this 5 stars is Shauna's present plot line in present time is not serious. It's cringy and poorly acted by Melanie Lynsky and Warren Cole. Their daughter Callie (Sarah Desjardin) does a great job but is brought down by the acting/writing of her parents story. Juliette Lewis was the biggest casting mistake and really ruins adult Natalie's story. She looks nothing like the actress who plays young Natalie, while the rest of the young/old cast are well cast. Juliette Lewis has always been a cringy overrated actor even in the 90s. It feels like she was forced into this role as some homage to the 90s vibe. Probably would have been better giving Courtney Love a crack at acting this role as she at least looks like an adult version of young Natalie and she couldn't do a much worse job acting than Juliette Lewis.
