Audience Member The most enjoyable thing I have watched in yearsss. Watching felt nostalgic while leaving me on edge. Perfection. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/19/24 Full Review jamy s Just really, really lame. It starts out with a decent sense of intrigue and craft, but quickly descends into directionless nonsense. I'm all for telling a supernatural story, but it still needs to be believable, the characters need to make sense and the backstory needs to be consistent, this really feels like they're just making it up as it goes along, without any real care of what came before or how it ties together. Add to that that it's meant to be based on an actual story with actual victims and motives, it moves from just feeling dumb to feeling exploitative and disrespectful. Sies. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/09/24 Full Review Ashlee W This is one of my favorite shows of all time. When I watch it there’s never a dull moment. Yellowjackets consistently keeps me on the edge of my seat and has in part due to the incredibly talented main cast who’s older and younger versions of the characters are each giving unbelievably real and often gut-wrenching performances. Heartfelt and Heart-wrenching through and through. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/26/24 Full Review Chuck Houck C One of the best, most creative shows currently on TV. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/11/24 Full Review Matilda B literally one of the best shows i've ever seen Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/24 Full Review Jen R Season 1 was so fresh and interesting. Horror on TV trends to be schlocky and formulaic, but Yellowjackets has unusual twists and turns and kept me guessing. Loved it. Craig Mathieson The Age (Australia) An uncanny mix of implacable horror, conspiracy-laded mystery, and barbed character comedy. It’s as adept at making you scream with fear as scream with laughter, then it lets you question what really divides the two. Feb 7, 2022 Full Review James Dyer Empire Magazine Gruesome, gripping and blackly comic, this tightly-plotted mystery-horror is meaty in all the right (and wrong) ways. Rated: 4/5 Jan 21, 2022 Full Review Shirley Li The Atlantic In this stew of hormones, gore, and mordant farce, the series captures the way that growing out of girlhood is an inherently brutal and absurd process. Jan 19, 2022 Full Review Ian Bunting Daily Record (UK) I’ve made it sound very dark and while it is, there is also camaraderie, friendship, characters you really want to root for and moments of hilarity. Sep 21, 2023 Full Review Jennifer Bisset CNET Pay whatever you must to watch Yellowjackets. Mar 30, 2023 Full Review Alan French Sunshine State Cineplex The large ensemble could have caused actresses to get lost in the process. However, one of the incredible things about Yellowjackets comes from the balance Lyle, Nickerson, and Lisco achieve. Rated: 9/10 Mar 22, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews
