John Doyle Globe and Mail You is very, very good. It's been called "bonkers" but you can take that in a good way. Jan 31, 2019 Full Review James Donaghy Guardian It is smart enough to let us know that to sympathise with Joe is to be complicit in his crimes. Every time you feel you're being drawn in, the show pulls the rug from under you and reminds you that he is not the romantic hero you are looking for. Jan 17, 2019 Full Review Anna Leszkiewicz New Statesman Its sparklingly cruel sense of humour is what makes it compulsively watchable -- through Joe's sardonic narration, the show displays a rare eagerness to ridicule its own characters. Jan 8, 2019 Full Review Sharai Bohannon Anatomy of a Scream Podcast Network It's a surprisingly addictive little treat. This season is more fun than it has a right to be, and that's the f-word I'm missing from similar shows. Joe Goldberg is the kind of complex villain I love to see. Nov 13, 2023 Full Review Graeme Tuckett The Post NZ You is a neat inversion of the usual psychopath and serial killer thriller... Feb 16, 2023 Full Review Joe Lipsett Anatomy of a Scream Podcast Network Badgley does exemplary work both on screen and in voice over as the dangerous milquetoast man of your dreams. The real revelation is how duplicitous everyone else is. Bonus points to Shay Mitchell as complicated queer (semi-villain) Peach Feb 11, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Amy D Solid start to the series, definitely drew me in. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/12/25 Full Review Joe G Despite the shows strong start and popularity throughout the seasons, Netflix decided to do what it always does and drive this show into the ground with the ending. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/11/25 Full Review Audience Member An eye opening first season. The writing of Joes character, the inner monologue, psychology, and Penns performance is amazingly intriguing. And seeing his weird day to day, and his strange habits.. it's what I love about character studies. I think the YA corny music with the beat dropping when a character kisses someone is very cringe, but very funny. Don't know if it's a part of the satire or just catering to their core female audience. Either way.. funny. First time I saw Shay Mitchell, and she was one of those stand outs in this season. I think it might be episode 5 or so, which is like a one location episode and I always thought it fit "You" perfectly. Thank you!! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/05/25 Full Review Akio A Love the show, interesting Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/29/25 Full Review Dhruv E This is one of the best series in my life. All seasons have incredible storyline, emotional touch and psychological thriller experience given to audiance.joe Goldberg is my most favourite character in series and second best is love quinn. joe have two sides one side is like nice and innocent and other side dark and evil side, but I like both sides. All my friends please please try this series 🍿🍿. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/29/25 Full Review edgygran s I enjoyed watching this series....i luved Joe...............but the ending was totally bad.....he should have gotten away with everything.....in all the things he did it was to help someone else...........so re-write the ending and i might give it a good review.
