For young Sheldon Cooper, it isn't easy growing up in East Texas. Being a once-in-a-generation mind capable of advanced mathematics and science isn't always helpful in a land where church and football are king. And while the vulnerable, gifted and somewhat naive Sheldon deals with the world, his very normal family must find a way to deal with him. His father, George, is struggling to find his way as a high school football coach and as father to a boy he doesn't understand. Sheldon's mother, Mary, fiercely protects and nurtures her son. For 12 years on "The Big Bang Theory," audiences came to know the iconic, eccentric and extraordinary Sheldon Cooper. In "Young Sheldon," audiences get a chance to meet him in childhood, as he embarks on his innocent, awkward and hopeful journey toward the man he will become. Jim Parsons, who plays the adult version of Sheldon on "The Big Bang Theory," narrates.

Eva B We have reached to a point were we take sides. It's nice that they add stuff from the original show. Still not the funniest but fun to watch. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/21/24 Full Review Nick S I seem to like it even more than before which is quite impressive. It's funny and deep with good writing. Excellent job. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/18/24 Full Review Acen L This is the season where the show begins to branch out and become something special. The kids are both cute and can act great, and the show is arguably at its peak in terms of humor. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/28/24 Full Review Young Sheldon Lover68 B holy guacamole... its everywhere, i needed to buy a new tv all because of my happy sauce, we got so many scenes with George Cooper this season and I loved it. When George gets into a shootout with king von I shivered in my timbers but he of course came out victorious. My pants were DRIPPING from this latest season and I lost it when Sheldon said BAZINGA and SKIBID that was a riot đŸ¤£. This show only gets better and better with every passing season. 10/10 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/27/24 Full Review SkyRo P Honestly, this show is absolutely phenomenal! The first season is a total blast—it's filled with humor and keeps you hooked from start to finish. Each subsequent season just keeps elevating the experience, showcasing the characters' development and growth, which makes it impossible to look away and leaves you eager for what’s next. The parents are fantastic; they have a great comedic chemistry, although I have mixed feelings about Mary’s religious beliefs. Nevertheless, it fits well within the context of the show. Sheldon is hilarious, and Missy's wild personality adds to the fun, but Georgie truly steals the spotlight. He’s outrageously funny, and honestly, the standout character of the series is Grandma. She consistently brings humor and stability, and you could easily watch an entire show centered around her—it would be a hit! I wholeheartedly recommend binge-watching this series; it’s worth every minute. The first season does a great job establishing the characters and allowing viewers to connect with them as they evolve, with Sheldon emerging as the focal point of the franchise. As you dive into the second and third seasons, you’ll find more emphasis on the growth of the mom, dad, and the fantastic Grandma Annie. As the series progresses, you develop a genuine affection for Georgie. From the start, you’re drawn to him, but as the show unfolds, he becomes increasingly compelling. It’s interesting to see how, despite the title "Young Sheldon," Georgie ends up being the favorite character, which is why he got his own spin-off, "Georgie and Mandy." They wrapped up the series beautifully; I believe extending it further would have risked dragging it out unnecessarily. It’s refreshing to see Georgie’s story continue, as he’s the character fans were eager to follow by the end. I don’t mean to be harsh, but Sheldon’s character started to feel a bit stale after a while. There’s only so much you can do with him before it becomes repetitive. He served his purpose in building the show, but now he feels less essential, while Georgie's storyline is where the excitement lies. When Montana Jordan chose to keep portraying Georgie, he didn’t just reignite fan enthusiasm; he captivated a wider audience with his character. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/25 Full Review letaiser well, I think this Season was not bad but not the best we have seen yet ,the actors made a great job and the jokes here are way funnier than the jokes we have in the Big Bang theory and the best about the show young Sheldon is not the live audience. We got Missy(daughter) playing Baseball which was also enjoyable to see and closer friendships. But I think the problem here was that even there were some good Jokes ,they weren't good as the ones in season1 and 2 and here were some really boring scenes and not likable characters Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
