For young Sheldon Cooper, it isn't easy growing up in East Texas. Being a once-in-a-generation mind capable of advanced mathematics and science isn't always helpful in a land where church and football are king. And while the vulnerable, gifted and somewhat naive Sheldon deals with the world, his very normal family must find a way to deal with him. His father, George, is struggling to find his way as a high school football coach and as father to a boy he doesn't understand. Sheldon's mother, Mary, fiercely protects and nurtures her son. For 12 years on "The Big Bang Theory," audiences came to know the iconic, eccentric and extraordinary Sheldon Cooper. In "Young Sheldon," audiences get a chance to meet him in childhood, as he embarks on his innocent, awkward and hopeful journey toward the man he will become. Jim Parsons, who plays the adult version of Sheldon on "The Big Bang Theory," narrates.

Eva B The good about the show is the the quality remains the same. Fun to watch but nothing special. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/21/24 Full Review Nick S Still an excellent show with depth and humor. I only watch it during my work hours in the background but it does catch my attention quite a bit. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/19/24 Full Review Acen L Great comedic television at its finest, and the calm before the storm. This feels like the transitional season into some of the more drama-filled plotlines and episodes of the later seasons, but still keeping the family sitcom-like style of the first three seasons. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/28/24 Full Review Young Sheldon Lover68 B oh my fillping god. You don't want to know about what happened to my room but lets just say that I needed to buy more tissues and lotion after this season all because of Sheldon and George. Younger Sheldon Season 4 is a testament to the power of heartfelt storytelling. It masterfully balances humor and emotion, delivering a season that is both entertaining and deeply moving. The show’s ability to capture the intricacies of family life, the joys and sorrows of growing up, and the unique challenges of raising a genius makes it a standout in the world of television. Boy Howdy I cant wait to see how much George Cooper will grow over the show. 10/10 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/27/24 Full Review SkyRo P Honestly, this show is absolutely phenomenal! The first season is a total blast—it's filled with humor and keeps you hooked from start to finish. Each subsequent season just keeps elevating the experience, showcasing the characters' development and growth, which makes it impossible to look away and leaves you eager for what’s next. The parents are fantastic; they have a great comedic chemistry, although I have mixed feelings about Mary’s religious beliefs. Nevertheless, it fits well within the context of the show. Sheldon is hilarious, and Missy's wild personality adds to the fun, but Georgie truly steals the spotlight. He’s outrageously funny, and honestly, the standout character of the series is Grandma. She consistently brings humor and stability, and you could easily watch an entire show centered around her—it would be a hit! I wholeheartedly recommend binge-watching this series; it’s worth every minute. The first season does a great job establishing the characters and allowing viewers to connect with them as they evolve, with Sheldon emerging as the focal point of the franchise. As you dive into the second and third seasons, you’ll find more emphasis on the growth of the mom, dad, and the fantastic Grandma Annie. As the series progresses, you develop a genuine affection for Georgie. From the start, you’re drawn to him, but as the show unfolds, he becomes increasingly compelling. It’s interesting to see how, despite the title "Young Sheldon," Georgie ends up being the favorite character, which is why he got his own spin-off, "Georgie and Mandy." They wrapped up the series beautifully; I believe extending it further would have risked dragging it out unnecessarily. It’s refreshing to see Georgie’s story continue, as he’s the character fans were eager to follow by the end. I don’t mean to be harsh, but Sheldon’s character started to feel a bit stale after a while. There’s only so much you can do with him before it becomes repetitive. He served his purpose in building the show, but now he feels less essential, while Georgie's storyline is where the excitement lies. When Montana Jordan chose to keep portraying Georgie, he didn’t just reignite fan enthusiasm; he captivated a wider audience with his character. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/25 Full Review letaiser really decent ,the voice actor (German) was horrible ,the first half of the season was unfunny and boring the 2nd was better but at all it wouldn't say it was a great season at all Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/02/23 Full Review Read all reviews
