Douglas Scott started his acting career at the age of five. Scott started his acting career landing roles in such films as "Cimarron" (1930), the romance "Devotion" (1931) with Ann Harding and "Rango" (1931). He also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "Cavalcade" (1933) with Diana Wynyard, "The Eagle and the Hawk" (1933) and the comedy "And So They Were Married" (1936) with Melvyn Douglas. He kept working in film throughout the thirties, starring in the Warner Baxter adventure "Slave Ship" (1937), "The Last Gangster" (1937) and "Wee Willie Winkie" (1937). He also appeared in the comedy "Wild and Woolly" (1937) with Jane Withers, the Leslie Howard drama "Intermezzo" (1939) and the Frank Muni crime feature "We Are Not Alone" (1939). Scott continued to exercise his talent in the thirties through the nineties, taking on a mix of projects like "Wuthering Heights" with Merle Oberon (1939), "Monster in the Closet" (1987) and "Locals" (Fox, 1993-94). His credits also expanded to "Sweet Nothing" (1996), "The 19th Annual CableACE Awards" (TNT, 1997-98) and "The Christopher Lowell Show" (1999-2002). Scott most recently worked on the romantic comedy "Undiscovered" (2005) with Pell James.
