Frank Mills was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Mills started his acting career landing roles in such films as the Stuart Erwin comedy adaptation "Make Me a Star" (1932), the crime flick "Parole!" (1936) with Henry Hunter and the musical "Follow the Fleet" (1936) with Fred Astaire. He also appeared in the drama "Cornered" (1945) with Dick Powell. He kept working in film throughout the fifties and the eighties, starring in the adaptation "The Joker Is Wild" (1957) with Frank Sinatra, the adventure "Rough Cut" (1980) with Burt Reynolds and "The Missionary" (1981) with Michael Palin. He also appeared in "Country" (1981). More recently, he tackled roles in the biopic "The Young Poisoner's Handbook" (1996) with Hugh O'Conor, "The Tribe" (1998) with Joely Richardson and the Hans Matheson comedy "Bodywork" (2000). He also appeared in the Pauline Collins foreign "Mrs. Caldicot's Cabbage War" (2003). Most recently, Mills acted in the crime drama "Oliver Twist" (2005) with Ben Kingsley.
