Roger Williams

Roger Williams was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Williams's earliest roles were in film, including the western "Toll of the Desert" (1935) with Fred Kohler Jr., the western "The Vanishing Riders" (1935) with Bill Cody and "Branded a Coward" (1935) with Johnny Mack Brown. He also appeared in the Bill Cody western "Six Gun Justice" (1935), the western "Texas Rambler" (1935) with Bill Cody and the Harry Carey western "The Wagon Trail" (1935). His film career continued throughout the thirties in productions like "Wildcat Trooper" (1936), "Pinto Rustlers" (1936) and the western "Song of the Trail" (1936) with Kermit Maynard. He also appeared in "Wildcat Saunders" (1936). Nearing the end of his career, he continued to act in "Heroes of the Alamo" (1937) with Bruce Warren, "Reckless Ranger" (1937) with Robert Allen and the Tom Tyler western "Lost Ranch" (1937). He also appeared in the Rex Lease western "The Silver Trail" (1937) and the adventure "Zorro Rides Again" (1937) with John Carroll. Williams was most recently credited in "Prehistoric Bimbos in Armageddon City" (1993) with Holly Star. Williams passed away in July 1939 at the age of 50.
