Jason R Oct 6 A very good film to watch, moving at times as it features two parents still mourning their sons death, 7 years on, the wife decides she'd like to foster a child but the husband is reluctant at first... worth watching to see the story yourself. There are moments that will make you smile, laugh and be moved to tears. Toni Colette as the lead actress gave a brilliant performance and there was a point in the movie that reminded me very much of that tearful touching scene at the end of another movie of hers, the Sixth Sense:) See more Marion N Apr 28 What kind of irresponsible adults take on a 7 year old foster child without any paper work? The dad works in a toy store , in this economy ?! please. I will say i loved when the coffee cup smashed in slow motion and she dropped the phone..... also in slow motioned. Is it a horror ? or a family feel good love the lord film? The kid is creepy and i hate his hat ,i dont want to be inspired by a creepy little ghost boy. What a treasure Maurice Cole was in his role as Eli (aka an Angel) Ioan Gruffudd and Toni Collette make a realistic couple going through a rough patch Although there are down moments in this tale, ultimately it left me feeling joyful.
