This film by Martha Coolidge examines the life of her grandmother, Mabel Coolidge. Mabel has experienced a long and full life, having been born in Massachusetts in the late 19th century. Much of the film features Mabel telling stories, from her first days at college to getting married and starting a family. The filmmaker also shoots footage of Mabel going about the business of her days, cleaning her house and entertaining her family, as she is still very active and spirited for her age.
