Singing cowboy Gene Autry (Gene Autry) and his good pal Dan Coleman (Tom London) agree to help the pioneer residents of Sunshine Valley get much-needed food and medical supplies after the owners of a local store, Ross McLain (Kenne Duncan) and Lola Riker (Sheila Ryan), rip them off. However, getting the goods to the pioneers is a dangerous job. On the way to the valley, Autry -- with his trusty horse, Champion -- and Coleman are attacked by bandits led by the dastardly McLain.

Audience Member A little more serious in tone than most Gene Autry westerns. Good story and the supporting cast is fine. There are a few pleasant songs to be had. All in all, it's one of his better films. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews
