Just saw the Writer's Cut. It was good. Good writing, ok to good acting and good effects. Liked that this version was in Black and White because it added tovthe atmosphere of the movie. Downside with b/w is that the gore is also b/w. Most of the downfalls of this movie's story can definately be excused when the twist was revealed. It's definately similar to the post Bloodline Hellraiser movies but it's actually way better.

Good movie. The twist has been done before but honestly it's still a good flick.

As a follower of Brad Jones, known to the internet as "The Cinema Snob", since late 2011, I find that this film, among his others such as Cheap and the much lighthearted Game Boys, have a lot of strength in his writing and directing despite the glaringly low production values. Still, certain pacing issues aside, I think this film captures what a long, hellish night would feel like and I would really love to see a lot more from brad in the future.

The budget shines through at times but most of the time I really like the mood and plot of it. I think there are some good performances in here. Brad Jones gives a lot to his character which Irving and Sarah Lewis also does. Some problems but mostly a fun engaging flick with a pretty great score.
