Audience Member This is the dumbest movie you'll ever see. I've seen bad movies, but this takes the cake. The characters are all stupid and the acting makes it even worse. It's not scary and the story has different twist that make no sense what so ever. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Gory in parts, it never gets that interesting beyond these scenes. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review don s Low budget horror, with low budget acting and effects. A movie full of Japanese horror cliches, all poorly done. The actresses are pretty. One of them, Jackie Moore, has naturally dark eyes. She would have been perfect for the possessed member of the trio. The makers of the movie didn't even capitalize on what was provided. A loser. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member You can tell this movie is going to be bad just by looking at the terrible movie poster... It starts off really slow, and doesn't explain why these girls just decided to take a holiday. It's a horrible film with pretty bad acting. Do not waste your time or money on this film, it's seriously that bad!! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Torture is not horror! Just a bad movie overall Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Just based on the cover of this movie, I was not expecting much at all. It looks like your typical bottom of the bin horror movie. After watching it though, I'm happy to report that I was left very pleasantly surprised. It's starts out with a gruesome torture porn esque scene, and I was hoping the whole movie wouldn't be that way, and it wasn't thankfully. The most gruesome scenes are within the first 15 minutes, and then a creepy, paranormal mystery begins to unfold. I found myself genuinely engaged in the situation of these girls, and interested in the mystery of what is going on. The directing, and pacing of the film were perfect for this story. In fact, the director impressed me several times during the film with the techniques employed. The biggest sore spot of this movie for me was the acting, the leads are not the greatest actresses, but they're passable, and don't totally ruin the movie. Although there was some noticeable cringeworthy acting in places. FX are done well throughout, and the writing is decent. VERDICT: C+ A low budget horror movie that exceeds expectations. The story's pacing plays out perfectly in the Thailand setting, and I found myself genuinely engrossed in the mystery of everything. The acting is a little rough around the edges, but it makes up for it's short comings with some genuine scares, and decent writing/directing. Still not a great horror movie, but better than the majority. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Read all reviews
