Audience Member "It's alive. IT'S ALIVE!"-Henry Frankenstein (Colin Clive) A mix of cheap Cronenberg and SHORT CIRCUIT. And what could have been a campy horror film, is instead, a dull kiddie movie. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Stardust (2007): "This was left at the wall for you. It says here his name is Tristan." - Elder Tristan has promised the unobtainable Victoria that he will retrieve a fallen star in exchange for her love. Intrigued, Victoria gives him seven days. The film is adapted from Gaiman's (Beowulf) novel of the same name. For a well-trodden myth, Stardust is amusingly dark, rich, and surprisingly clever. The director, Matthew Vaughn, has roots back to "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels." Great to see Peter O'Toole as the dying King, Robert De Niro as the closeted Captain Shakespeare, and the lovely Michelle Pfeiffer as Lamia, a witch. "It's a'right, Captain, we always knew you were a whoopsie." - Crew Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a test of the emergency broadcast system Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Low budget family film will likely not be very entertaining to anyone over the age of twelve. Hokey stuff, silly and amateurish. It has a particularly bad score, and the pacing is poor. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
