Audience Member Pseudo intellectual imaginary war.. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Also known as: The Unprecedented Defence of the Fortress Deutschkreuz This is not one of the best Herzog films I might add. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member This early short by Werner Herzog appears to be largely improvised... some guys (college buddies of Herzog's, perhaps) fuck around in an old fortress, find some uniforms and weapons, and play at war. The narration also seems to be some guy just riffing on what he sees, although this might be more written than the action. It's hard to tell, and hard to care. Nothing much going on here, but at only 15 minutes, it's tolerable for the curious. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
