ROBERT L Excellent movie regarding the War of the Roses. An interesting telling of the history of Great Britain. One of the bloodiest battles in their history. The battle of Towton was decisive win for the Yorkists. With a death toll said to number 28,000, the Lancastrians had to retreat. Highly interesting and will definitely be watching again Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member They got a key fact wrong. At the 6:30 mark, the narrator claims that Henry V "was to achieve the dynastic ambitions of his great-grandfather, Edward II, and add the crown of France to that of England." This is not true. Henry V's great-grandfather was Edward III, *not* Edward II. Edward III was the king who declared he was the rightful king of France, and Edward III was instigator of the Hundred Years' War... Edward the II, who would have been Henry V's great-great-grandfather, didn't have a thing to do with it. It's odd to me that such a well-known fact slipped past the makers of this film. And if they made this error, who knows what other errors the film contains. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews
