Panos Kotzathanasis Asian Movie Pulse There is much misogyny here, but the film manages to rise above both this and its soft-porn premises, resulting in a testament that pinku movies were also used for the presentation of serious sociophilosophical critique and also of being highly artistic Mar 11, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Eric R Another beautiful nihilistic film by Wakamatsu. The characters are incredibly dark individuals who essentially spend there days fanticizing over woman and later usually raping those woman. The black and white cinematography is absolutely gorgeous, which for anyone who knows Wakamatsu is expected. The jazz score supplements the imagery quite well as we follow these troubled youth around japan. Wakamatsu's commentary on the state of japan is prevalent as always although it will take re-watches to fully grasp what he was saying. Its just nihilistic good-ness. Great shit as usual.
