Audience Member A strange combination of animation, live action, and extremely cheesy musical numbers. Kinda like the Australian answer to FORBIDDEN ZONE. The live action sequences felt like they were filmed on the set of an eighties music video, the animation was some of the most bizarre I've ever come across, and the plot was virtually non-existent. From what I can make out the story goes as follows: A rich nuclear arms dealer is suffering from a bad heart. While on his hospital bed he slips in and out of fantasies where he's an animated dolphin who transforms into a live action (and sometimes animated) hair band outcast on a quest to find a cup that grants wishes. In these fantasies he comes across another dolphin (who transforms into a guy in a ridiculous spandex suit), a mad scientist, and a woman who aide him in his quest for the cup. All of the characters that he meets in the fantasy world exist in the hospital where he lays dieing (think of it like a retarded WIZARD OF OZ). Meanwhile, in the real world, his three lawyers and a conniving doctor are trying to keep him alive long enough for him to sign documents to sell nuclear weapons to third world countries. They plan on taking the heart of an unsuspecting criminal and using it to replace the arms dealer's in order to keep him alive long enough. That might be the most sense that I can make out of this movie, because in reality this is one of the most nonsensical movies I've ever seen. I don't know if this can be considered a good movie by normal standards (or by most standards for that matter), but I do know that it kept me thoroughly interested in the bizarre happenings.
