Van Damme may be famous enough that he can afford to continue noodling around with different roles and performance styles. But his fellow cast members deserve a lot better than We Die Young.

It aims to add social context to an otherwise hackneyed gangster film. The attempt is sincere, but given its reliance on random snapshots of extravagant suffering, that objective also goes belly up.

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom

This movie could have been so much more. The premise was so good it was hard not to give it a chance. I have to say though there where times when van damme came into the movie and I was waiting for a one liner or an action scene where he takes out a few gang members and got nothing. The ending was like putting a bow on a hot mess. This one just left more to be desired

Terrible acting. Even the narrating is so bad. The kids face the whole movie also terrible. Looks like he's constipated whole movie.

Sometimes I wonder why I bother queuing films like this up. I'm learning … slowly. I should have known that anything starring Jean-Claude Van Damme would be iffy. Oh well. Live and learn.
