More cameos, more satire, and more laugh out loud moments. It keeps delivering!

This season isn't the best but is still great. I'm surprised the critics rated it so low!

The comedy and timing largely fall flat, there are a lot of plotlines and cast-combinations that simply did not seem to work as well.
Possibly the weakest season in the entire show, but still decent TV.

Its getting a little uneven at times, but you can still relaibly laugh every episode.
Season 4 of Tina Feys cavalcade of silliness once again focuses on relationships between characters. Many are played for laughs, but there are some genuine moments, particularly between Liz and Jack, who continue to be the focus of the show, causing other characters (Pete) to fall by the wayside, and others (Jenna, Tracy) to begin the slide into simplified extreme caricatures of themselves.
The parade of talented guest stars continues. Elizabeth Banks, Julianne Moore, Michael Sheen, Will Forte, James Franco, and many more actors are veritably breaking down the door to be a part of the show, even for a single-episode arc.
Favourite episodes are less dense, but there are some good ones. Into the Crevasse is an early strong episode, featuring my favourite guest star, Will Arnett. Khonani, while funnier at the time, still has some chuckle moments. The finale, I Do Do brings it all to a head, and has some funny reversal moments for characters.
Its not the best, but even Tina Feys not-the-best is still pretty good.

A bit more irreverent and over the top, season four of 30 Rock, maintains the laughs. It's hard to stay razor sharp when you were a ginsu, but even a step down from previous heights doesn't take away from how good this show is.

Clever, hilarious comedy.
A behind-the-scenes look at the the cast and crew of The Girly Show
(TGS), an NBC skit-comedy program. Centres on the executive producer of
the show, Liz Lemmon (played by Tina Fey), her boss, GE/NBC executive
Jack Donaghy (Alec Baldwin).
Created by Tina Fey, of SNL fame, 30 Rock is incredibly clever,
especially in its references to topical events and in poking fun at the
entertainment industry. Quite over-the-top at times, and delightfully
so.
The jokes come thick and fast, sometimes too fast - you've hardly
digested one and the next one is upon you. If there is a negative, that
is it - with the humour being so clever, you need some breathing space
to sometimes get the jokes and being so snappy, you can easily miss
things.
Great performances and perfect casting. Alec Baldwin probably has the
toughest gig, as his character is right-wing and capitalist to the
extreme and is a living parody of not just the entertainment industry
but business executives in general. Also, before this Baldwin was
really considered only a drama-movie actor, so this is quite a change
for him. He carries it off with aplomb.
A classic and classy comedy series.
