Evette Dionne Bitch Media This season, the journey toward stardom and wealth makes the show's characters both recognizable because we've heard their stories before, and also very unfamiliar because we've rarely seen these kinds of hardships made so clear. Mar 5, 2021 Full Review Eric Deggans NPR That nagging sense of lost potential gives poignancy to every scene, making this season of "Atlanta" another masterpiece. Nov 25, 2019 Full Review Michael Jordan Observer The show robbed every one of their ability to ignore a city whose cultural influence continues to be stolen by every other city around the world Dec 18, 2018 Full Review Vikram Murthi The Nation The results were largely unparalleled and, crucially, irreducible. Jan 13, 2023 Full Review Justin Charity The Ringer It was an all-time-great TV drama, yes, but perhaps more importantly Atlanta was the most bracing and rambunctious thing on television, in any format, since Chappelle’s Show. Nov 10, 2022 Full Review Stuart McGurk GQ Magazine [UK] Atlanta is often as unsettling as it is funny. Jul 2, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews
