Bill Henrickson seems like a typical suburban husband and father, except for the fact that he has three wives, nine kids and three homes to maintain. The Salt Lake City polygamist has to juggle his families' needs while overseeing his casino business, fulfilling his political interests and attempting to reconnect with his fundamentalist relatives.

Aileen Gallagher New York Magazine/Vulture Yes, Big Love got silly more than once... But it was never ironic about religion. The show's greatest achievement was its compassionate, complex portrayal of faith and the doubt that comes with it. Dec 11, 2018 Full Review Matt Zoller Seitz Salon.com Like so many HBO series, this one put an unsettling new frame around familiar, very basic conflicts, in a way that pushed viewers to consider their essence. Dec 11, 2018 Full Review Caryn James IndieWire This season Big Love addresses head-on the voyeurism and sexism that has always been at the series' center, and the drama becomes richer than ever. Dec 11, 2018 Full Review TV Fanatic Staff TV Fanatic The writers held out in some areas, while rushing to complete other storylines. Rated: 2.5/5 Dec 11, 2018 Full Review Matt Roush TV Guide Much about this current season either didn't make sense or greatly annoyed me... At least Big Love had an ending. Not every HBO series has been so lucky. Dec 11, 2018 Full Review Jessica Grabert CinemaBlend Even with its incessant drama, Big Love is such a warm show that we've come to know each of the characters like they are old friends. We want to know how life turns out for the Big Love clan. Rated: 3.5/5 Dec 11, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Fell apart after the first 4 seasons. Parts were okay but this was the weakest of the seasons. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member My favorite TV series all-time! Excellent character development, plots and subplots. Constant tension but also great spots of levity. A very believable, enjoyable drama. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
