Dr. Temperance Brennan, a forensic anthropologist who works at the Jeffersonian Institution and also writes books, has an impressive ability to read clues from victims' bones. Consequently, law enforcement calls her to assist with investigations when remains are so badly decomposed, burned or destroyed that standard identification methods are useless. Brennan is teamed with Special Agent Seeley Booth, a former Army sniper, who mistrusts science and scientists when it comes to solving crimes but who has developed respect for Brennan, both professionally and personally.

Lee C The Pallant stories... I find it painful to watch. Completely unrealistic to suggest someone could do those things. Hacking into phones, CCTV etc using bits of old toasters and junk he pulls together. Even if using a normal computer, absolute nonsense. Spoils it for me. I can overlook some of the IT 'magic' used to solve cases but this just angers me Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/02/25 Full Review Audience Member One of the most interesting things about the Pelant Arc was the script. Pelant was one of the major villains during Bone's runtime. The writers had to build this arc over the years while trying to keep the audience interested, and the story concise. The Pelant Arc was a rollercoaster in simplest words, his First appearance being in Season 7, Episode 6. Pelant had defaced a national monument with a cryptic message and a mutilated body, this foreshadowed a major change in the story of Bones. Throughout the episodes, with Pelant you can see how each episode is different in its own unique way. A spine of a victim taken apart and put back together in a sort of code, creating doubt within the team during the season finale of Season 7 by framing Brennan for murder, bringing Pelant's old school counselor into the story to describe how he has been manipulative since he was young, and then Pelant constantly changing his identity to continue to mess with the team. The writers kept up this uniqueness until the end of Pelant's appearances. The script was written in a way that kept me interested the entire time, Christopher Pelant was a very unique character that was unpredictable and that is why this Arc's script was one of my top ten favorites in all of Bones episodes. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review steve d The disjointed delivery of the season and its short nature hurts the effectiveness. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review russell h I can't get enough of these characters. Palant is a good villain. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member When Booth and Bones had a baby, that's where I drew the line. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
