Johnny Oleksinski New York Post If Handler rediscovers that bite that we love, that willingness to excoriate her victims with a laugh, perhaps "Chelsea" can have a long life on Netflix. Without that, it's just Goop with Grey Goose. Mar 28, 2019 Full Review Maureen Ryan Variety Handler's longtime fans may be willing to "Chelsea" and chill, but it's difficult to see how this particular offering will expand that narrow base. Mar 28, 2019 Full Review Robert Bianco USA Today If Chelsea is a work in progress - someone had better get to work. Mar 28, 2019 Full Review Michael Slezak TV Line It's not as though Handler is admirably swinging for the fences and missing, she's striking out while attempting a bunt. Rated: D+ Mar 28, 2019 Full Review Kevin Fallon The Daily Beast As anyone recalls from their first days of school, you don't actually learn anything. That's certainly true of Chelsea, too. The premiere is often very fun, especially when Handler's eye-roll-driven plain-talking sense of humor slips in off the cuff. Mar 28, 2019 Full Review Audra Schroeder The Daily Dot It's a big gamble for Netflix, but also a welcome reprieve from the current late-night landscape. Jan 18, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews

There are elements in here for data nerds, political nerds, comedy lovers and more. Obviously the insights are liberal, and Chelsea throws in her trademark shock-value comedy where appropriate. It is a well-balanced comedy political talk show, and hopefully a trend-setting series for the future of "television" style content.
