Synopsis
If you give a cash-strapped couple $25,000 to plan their dream wedding, they would likely be ecstatic, right? Probably not if with that money came the stipulation that the bride and groom would be separated for three weeks leading up to the big day and the groom must plan the ceremony himself -- with no input from his bride-to-be. That's the premise of "Don't Tell the Bride." Not only does the bride not get to help plan the ceremony, but she also is not told what is going on during the planning process. She doesn't see the invitations until they go out in the mail, she sees the reception setup at the same time the guests do and she doesn't even try on her dress until just before she walks down the aisle. If you think a wedding day is stressful for an average bride, imagine how it is for brides who are surprised by all of the details of the event. These brides shed tears of joy -- and, at times, sadness -- when they finally get to see what their weddings look like.
