DTF St Louis is grubby and banal, silly and deadpan, and then Harbour signs along to a camp pop act performing on stage and it becomes all those things at once, with an extra dose of poignancy. It is rare that a show arrives as fully formed as this. Go to Full Review

The performances are great, but ultimately the whole thing tries too hard to be quirky and offbeat. It’s one of those shows that you are almost conditioned to like, because it’s prestige HBO. Go to Full Review

The story jumps between different points of view and points in time, packing one surprise after another. The series manages to make characters who are at their core pathetic deserving of a little sympathy. A neat trick. Go to Full Review

While the series is full of offbeat humour and genuinely relatable moving insights about people, it also functions as a hugely compelling whodunnit. Go to Full Review

Michael D @Imhereforthis 16h Loved the first episode, with a great cast that really delivered.very well written, and has a unique way of telling this story. Here We Go, here we go! See more Elizabeth R 20h This propensity that HBO now has for replacing dialogue with rock music is lazy, devoid of creativity, and annoying. See more Leanne P @LeanneTheFan 1d The pacing of this show is really weird. Can't tell if it's supposed to be a satire. The unrealistic looking fake belly and constant fat jokes are a distraction. See more Slick R @SlickReviewer 1d A bit slow paced so far... but knowing Jason Bateman shows it could get super crazy and violent at any second. I've been waiting for the next season of Ozark for years now but it doesn't seem like we're gonna get it anytime soon so this murder mystery will have to do. See more John A. @Johncayala 1d Don’t want it to end. See more Lydia E. @LydiaEmily 1d So good. Must we wait till next Sunday 😭😭 See more Read all reviews
