At fictional Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital in New Jersey, prickly genius Dr. Gregory House tackles health mysteries as would a medical Sherlock Holmes, all the while playing mind games with colleagues that include his best friend, oncologist James Wilson. House, an acerbic infectious disease specialist, solves medical puzzles with the help of a team of young diagnosticians. Flawless instincts and unconventional thinking help earn House great respect, despite his brutal honesty and antisocial tendencies.

Zack Handlen AV Club In House-land, we can have the illusion of growth but not growth itself. Rated: C+ Feb 5, 2019 Full Review CJ Sheu Review Film Review ...“Last Temptation” (7.19...), where House and Wilson each bring a chicken to work and bet on who can keep his chicken safe the longest without being caught by security. Naturally, this leads to various gambits to “sacrifice” the other’s chicken[.] Jan 9, 2025 Full Review Matt Richenthal TV Fanatic Taub has made for solid comic relief this season, becoming the first member of the team about whom I can say I'm legitimately interested. Rated: 4/5 Feb 6, 2019 Full Review Anthony Ocasio Screen Rant How did a series that was once filled with so much creativity and ingenuity turn into an embarrassingly executed series. Feb 5, 2019 Full Review Brendan Bettinger Collider I would argue that the creative team is still crafting one of the better procedurals on television. Feb 5, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Sheyla L This season wasn’t as entertaining as the others — it leaned more heavily into drama than ever before. House feels lost, broken, and more stubborn than ever. The focus on the medical cases seems to have lessened, which took away some of the thrill for me. It was especially sad to see Masters leave the show. I really thought her character had so much more to give. I loved that she stood her ground and challenged House with her beliefs — that dynamic added a fresh, meaningful layer. Sad to see Dr. Cuddy leaving the show. Still, it’s an Absolute Must-See! The actors and storyline remain fantastic — I never get tired of them. This is my fifth time watching House, and somehow it still gets better with each round. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/11/24 Full Review S. S One of the best TV shows ever made. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/29/23 Full Review Sofia C Same structure as previous seasons but still so fun to watch the character development Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/26/22 Full Review Audience Member This season is good because this show is downward impossible to ruin, but Cuddy's character almost does the trick. The story has flaws for the first time, it gathers nonsensical and out of character decisions from the protagonists and leaves the audience wondering WHY, JUST WHY; besides, I couldn't stand Masters. But I have to admit it's overall just as messy as the situations would be in real life. Olivia Wilde is outstanding throughout the season though.
