Hopelessly romantic Ben is a New York lawyer trying to build a life with the woman of his dreams, Kate. Ben's coarse best friend and co-worker Larry doesn't believe in love, which leaves him plenty of time to flex his muscles as a third wheel. Kate's roommate, Connie, makes it clear that she finds Larry's presence irritating, but doth the lady protest too much? It seems Connie and Larry may have more in common than they are willing to admit, if they'd just let their guards down long enough to see it.

What to Know

Critics Consensus

Mad Love has an outstanding cast that struggles mightily to inject some fresh humor into less-than-inspired situations and dialogue.

Feb 14, 2011 Full Review Matt Roush TV Guide If only it didn't feel so much like a clone of its lead-in How I Met Your Mother. Feb 14, 2011 Full Review Ellen Gray Philadelphia Daily News This is Mad Love, which takes a good cast and forces them to try to make themselves heard over people who seem to think everything they say is hilarious.
