Strong and focused, Lt. Beth Davis is an expert in the field of repeated harassment, driven by personal experience of being a victim. She heads the LAPD's Threat Assessment Unit, which investigates cases of stalking -- including voyeurism, cyberharassment and romantic fixation. The history of recent transfer Jack Larsen -- whose personality and questionable behavior have been an issue in the past -- may help him in his assignment to her team. Her other detectives are young but eager Ben Caldwell and deceptively intelligent Janice Lawrence. Together they try to stop situations from spinning out of control -- and to keep their personal obsessions at bay.

Matt Zoller Seitz New York Magazine/Vulture It's another CBS fear-mongering crime series whose end goal is to make you so scared to go outside that you stay in and watch CBS shows that make you scared to go outside. Oct 2, 2014 Full Review Brian Moylan Guardian Aside from the horrific scenes of violence, Stalker is a paint-by-numbers network procedural, and not a very good one at that. Oct 2, 2014 Full Review Gail Pennington St. Louis Post-Dispatch I couldn't get past that frantic woman, screaming in her burning car. Save yourself. Run from Stalker. Rated: 1/4 Oct 1, 2014 Full Review Sujay Kumar The Daily Beast Stalker isn't misogynistic scare porn. It's far worse: a dumb PSA for the dangers of misogyny, delivered with the grace of the NFL and narrative heft of a pornographic film. Oct 20, 2017 Full Review Pattie Pegler The Post NZ This is horrible television. Give it a miss. Apr 26, 2017 Full Review Rob Lowman Los Angeles Daily News Only at the very end, when you are given a peek into [the main characters'] secrets, which will be ongoing, is there something that may get you to watch a second week. It won't for me. Feb 3, 2015 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member I thought it was supposed to be about crime and murder with serious investigators, but all I see is too much cleavage, loads of superficiality, pretentious intelligence and overcreative personal conflict. This is just more very publically overrated American nonsense, simple glossy crime porn, but at least the critics didn't fall for it. Nevertheless, now a large number of women in the US are even more paranoid. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I find it so amusing on how people just expect the victims to run/hide/attack. Have you been in a situation where you have felt scared or paranoid? How can you be so ignorant when expecting another person to have the same rational mentality as you when you aren't even in that situation?! This show highlights the situations alot of people face, that go unnoticed and how hard it is to punish people for harrasing others when the area is so grey. How it is so common in our society. I'd say this is one of the very few shows that I wouldn't mind watching and I am a very picky person so I think it did a great job grabbing my attention. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member This series educated us on the seriousness of stalking. People need to be educated and it maybe hard to watch but its important to know about it. Right now, I am a victim of stalking and this show somehow helped me and made me realise that I am not as alone as I feel. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Bad writing and producing, take great cast and then turn the Heroine into a weak shadowy troubled character ... morons at producing and writing. And this is a critical subject ... Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I miss this series when will they bring it back Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Totally enjoy the story line. Waiting for new Season II . Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
