Eric Deggans NPR It's so disappointing to Arnold fans out there. He was wooden, overly scripted, and to me, he committed the cardinal sin of reality TV. He was not interesting. Nov 26, 2019 Full Review Willa Paskin Slate Trump was the star of The Apprentice. Schwarzenegger just has top billing. The resulting show is as dull as one hopes Trump's presidency will be. Jan 3, 2017 Full Review Jonathan Bernstein Daily Telegraph (UK) The downside of Celebrity Apprentice continues to be its snoozer two-hour episodes, the bulk of which are devoted to exposure for the brands whose products the celebs labour to promote. Rated: 2/5 Jan 3, 2017 Full Review Alison Rowat The Herald (Scotland) You have to hand it to the Apprentice producers: they have a formula and stick to it like jam on a mohair jumper. Rated: 4/5 Oct 7, 2019 Full Review Ken Tucker Yahoo! TV It was clear within a few moments of the tedious New Celebrity Apprentice that Arnold Schwarzenegger was the wrong person to take over Donald Trump's job of grilling and firing contestants. Nathan J Finally a season of this show that's watchable. Thankfully they got rid of that horrible old guy in the diapers and replaced him with Arnold. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/13/25 Full Review StephenPaul C The greatest final 7 episodes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/08/23 Full Review Audience Member This season of CA was probably the most uninteresting of all of the Apprentice shows. While the "celebrities" were carefully chosen, too many of them were "B", "C", and "D" listers and the projects themselves (except for the last one) were extremely generic and rather run of the mill. There was little excitement or drama during the board room scenes (except for a multi-firing day) and the interactions of the celebrities were fairly uninteresting and a bit staged. The show had no heart, essentially. I did like Arnold's attempts at both humor and seriousness, but if they don't do a better job of choosing people and projects for next season, I predict another drop in ratings. If it were up to me, I would keep Arnold, and fire everybody else. Get to the chopper! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
